Using ADD button

Step	Action	Result
1	On Knowledge Builder power tools tabs, click the Favorites tab.	Confirms that the Favorites tab is open in the topic window.
2	Under Favorites Management, click the ADD button.	Opens the Knowledge Builder Favorites Management dialog.
3	Type the directory location of the file to be added in the Select Document to Add box. Or, click the Browse button to use the Open dialog to navigate to selected file location.	Define the location of the file to be added.
4	To link the added file to the current source location, select the Link to current location button. To move a copy of the added file to your local Favorites folder, select the Move to local favorites location button. This is the default selection.	Choose storage location for added file.
5	To list the added file by its existing name, select the Use source document name button. This is the default selection. To use your own name for the added file, select the Rename document button and type desired name in the Name document box.	Choose name for added file.
6	To add the added file as a child of the currently selected Favorites file, select the Within current selection button. To add the added file at the same level as the currently selected Favorites file, select the At same level as current selection button. To add the added file at the root of your Favorites directory, select the At root of favorites button.	Choose the hierarchical location for the file within Favorites.
7	Under Search Keywords, key in any desired keyword term in the Enter Keyword box and click the Add button.	Define terms that may not appear in the associated content, but may be useful as a terminology cross-reference. For example, include rack as a keyword reference for chassis.
8	Click the OK button.	Initiates the operation, adds the file to the Available Favorites list, and closes the dialog.
9	Repeat this procedure to add other information to Favorites, as desired.
